Original acrylic painting on canvas panel, created by Alex Curley. This original acrylic painting captures a neighborhood institution suspended in time. Inspired by La Bonbonniere in New York's West Village, the work reflects a space layered with decades of taped articles, photographs, signs, and handwritten notes - artifacts of its history. Through layered brushwork and shifting color, it celebrates the beauty of places that remain steadfast in their origins, preserving local history and community memory within an ever-changing cityscape.

The painting is framed with 1.75 inch profile (depth) and ready to display. It includes a picture frame wire hanging system installed on the back for easy placement and display. The canvas is signed and dated by the artist on the back of the artwork, and the piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity verifying the original work.
